Last week we visited the EXPONATEC COLOGNE 2015 the trade fair for museums, conservation and cultural heritage. As part of the fair trade interesting master thesis from Cologne Institute of Conservation Sciences, Thechnology Art Sciences TH Köln where presented. The findings from the presented master thesis on medieval art have contributed to the review of art historical dating of medieval art. Take part of the abstracts here.

EXPONATEC COLOGNE (18 to 20 November 2015), the international trade fair for museums, conservation and cultural heritage, has developed into the most important European meeting point of the branch: with 197 exhibitors from 22 countries, this year’s trade fair is larger and more international than that of two years ago. 77 new exhibitors decided in favour of Cologne to present their new products and continuing developments to a specialist public. The offering extends from visitor orientation, security and lighting through preventive conservation and cultural heritage to aspects of 3D staging and the use of multimedia in the mediation of culture.
Companies from around the world presented innovations, product developments and solutions for layout, design and technology. Other important topics once again included museum and information management, cost reduction options, security, accessibility, transportation, and logistics met for this specialized fair in Koelnmesse.
